...The thought went through my head to go ahead and leave a note and a dollar bill in the airport. I sneakily walked up to a vendor who was selling mugs and slipped "the note" and the dollar bill into a mug on the shelf. On my way to the gate, I was feeling SO SO good about beginning this practice.

I got to my gate, and a few minutes before we were to board, an announcement was made that they needed people to step down as the flight was overbooked.

They were offering flight vouchers to be used in the next year for travel to any destination. I jumped out of my seat!

About ten minutes later, an Asian flight attendant came aboard and began yelling out our name and that we HAD to get off the plane!!

And, what did i get? Flight vouchers for travel in the upcoming year, each valued at $400 a piece AND they paid for our lunch while we only waited about an hour for another flight!
