Call #3 - Antonio Brown - When in shape nobody in the league can Guard him. Making him the perfect pass Receiver.

Tom paid to fly Antonio to his house.

Housed and fed and helped Train Antonio.

Paid the Fines And hired people to Counsel and Advise Antonio during the season.

RESULT?

I heard These 3 players cited DURING GAMES - over and over - as making the Difference Btwn Losing and Winning Football Games.

Tom Won The SUPER BOWL at a totally new Team.

What we did to
Keep From Getting Fired.

When I was promoted to Asst Director of Housing. There was no Director. The Previous Housekeeping and Maintenance Supervisors had Been Fired.

So for most of a Year I was Doing 4 Jobs.

You may ask, "HOW DO YOU DO 4 Jobs?

A - LEVERAGE - Technology.
#1 - The University had just installed a New Campus Phone System. So without Telling anyone. I got all 800 of my employees Personal Mailboxes.

#2 - During Big Fire and Flood Emergencies (Which happen constantly at big Colleges) - I sat in the School Library. Skimming Magazines and books.

#3 - While Walking around talking to people. I asked, "If you had a Magic Wand and could do Anything. What would you do?

a - One lady wanted to Design Big and Tall Clothing.

b - A guy - Fire Fighter

c - A women - "I want your Job."

So While skimming a 2 foot pile of books and magazines. I'd leave Voice Mail Messages. (INVISIBLE to All The HIGHER UPS)

B - LEVERAGE The Student Handbook...(INVISIBLE to The HIGHER UPS)

After 5 Pm - I Made copies of a "Form Letter". Sent out Thru Campus Mail - A Thank You Letter to each student in the Handbook. 20 a day. ASKING them to contact us. AT NO COST. If they had loose Bolts in Furniture, Moldy tub walls, Dirty Carpet. Flood Damage.

Yup. I ASKED for more work. Then I had the Students PHONE # so I could call on the Ones I suspected didn't get done properly. (Like patching holes in walls.)

C - HOW WE GOT EVERYBODY to VOLUNTEER.

After a Big Flood where I asked for Volunteer Janitors to come in on a weekend. Everybody got FREE LUNCH at McDonalds.

Those who didn't Volunteer Were made FUN OF. VOLUNTEERS who got all the Free Food and Drinks BRAGGED.

So soon Everybody Volunteered. (Sounds Expensive. But most Emergencies only need 1 or 2 Volunteers.)

D - THANK YOU NOTES - WE also Wrote Physical Thank you notes to Employees we "Caught" going the Extra Mile.

E - MYSTERY MONEY - And SHHHHHH. Don't tell anybody. But I am The MYSTERY MAN who set up a Free Account at the Campus PIZZA SHOP.

My top 10 Staffers - got - $20 each -Free Snacks and Drinks. (Just btwn me and the Pizza Store Manager.)

P.P.S. - When We Left that Job. 5 People were Hired to Replace me. And an Entire Nightshift of Staffers and Vehicles was added. Plus a supervisor.

People stopped VOLUNTEERING.

In fact. To this day none of the HIGHER UPS know all the Pay it Forward Stuff We Did.
